Finding God’s Abundance

Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls.  Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.   The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places.

Habakkuk 3:  17-19

Experiencing God’s joy is when my spirit dances, even though my body cannot.  It’s when my body becomes tired and weak, but my spirit gains strength.  It’s the cup God shares with us when we take refreshment with and in Him.  Sometimes the cup will have a dash of sorrow, or suffering, but strangely, instead of making the drink bitter, it makes it sweet.

I have been challenged over the years with health issues and through this God developed in my heart (and that of my family) a level of trust obtained through adversity (read I Remembered Thy Songs In The Night, a personal testimony).  Unknowing to us, this trust was the seed needed to grow wings of faith to prepare us for the road ahead.

God drew me to Ezra and our next step (leap) in our travels (read To The King and The Restoration below).  I have had many surgeries over the years and 3-4 treatments of steroids per year and even more antibiotics.   Between vomiting, rashes, no sleep, and dizzy/light headedness… my body was saying, “enough!”  Nevertheless, all we’d know was that offered through the medical field.   What I’d like to share on these pages is not only what God showed me through Ezra, but the actual mechanics:  supplements we are using, natural relief, natural solutions, recipes for a healthier home.

However, if that is all you leave here with, you have missed what I had hoped so hard to convey ~ God’s abundance!  His love for each one of us and His joy that transcends all circumstances.   You are not your sickness.  This body is flesh and not eternal.  Your spirit and your soul are eternal.  I hope and pray for healing for you, but more so, I hope for a healthy spirit.

I couldn’t begin to list the environmental and food allergies I have, but I can say that through the abuse from myself and other well intended individuals I have developed many chemical allergies and candida.  This natural occurring yeast (which has the ability to change to a fungus) found in one’s intestines, has invaded my sinuses.  This has called for a huge change in diet  and lifestyle, and my wonderful family has jumped in with me.

I am so excited that through these changes I am able to teach my daughter skills and habits that create not only a non-toxic environment in our home (as much as possible) but also how to appreciate and enjoy wholesome healthy foods and a simple, uncluttered lifestyle.   However, my biggest joy is that by example I can teach my daughter that God’s joy is more than just being healthy and prosperous.  Real joy takes root in our spirit, it moves one beyond circumstances.  This joy and peace comes only from God.

I pray for those who are suffering or struggling that you will find through these pages God’s refreshment and never ending hope in whatever situation, you find yourself!   There are no ‘magic formulas’ on these pages.  I am just sharing the hope I have in Yeshua, Jesus.   Yes, I am making some ‘healthier’ choices, but there is a long road ahead.  I don’t mind that.  You see my constant companion is Yeshua.  The abundance I speak of is God’s love.  There is just something about pain that helps you focus.  I pray you focus on our loving Lord and Savior and catch the fire of God’s love.

I hope you find encouragement and some enthusiasm for your journey to a more abundant life, falling in love with our gentle Lord and Savior Yeshua Ha Mashiach.  For us it is a pilgrimage, having many challenges, but a journey that is pulling us closer to God our Abba, through His son Yeshua and fuller in our appreciation for how He truly has made us and provided us with all we need!

*Important note – With this lifetime journey don’t just take God along, but let Him lead.  Make Him your closest confidant and companion!  Follow, ask, listen, and rest.  Do your own research.  Share, Care, and Prayer, Inc. maintains a large book and tape library for members (membership is free though they do welcome donations).  This is a great way to find out more about MCS, EI, and Candida.  To find out more about their free lending library visit their site:
