'If the solar system was brought about by an accidental collision, then the appearance of organic life on this planet was also an accident, and the whole evolution of Man was an accident too. If so, then all our present thoughts are mere accidents—the accidental by-product of the movement of atoms. And this holds for the thoughts of the materialists and astronomers as well as for anyone else’s. But if their thoughts—i.e. of materialism and astronomy—are merely accidental by-products, why should we believe them to be true? I see no reason for believing that one accident should be able to give me a correct account of all the other accidents. It’s like expecting that the accidental shape taken by the splash when you upset a milkjug should give you a correct account of how the jug was made and why it was upset.’

The Lone Star Creationist

Once upon a time, about 20,000,000,000 years ago (that is a long, long, long, time!) our universe formed from nothing.

Then about 4,600,000,000 years ago life spontaneously (all on it’s own) developed from nonliving minerals.

From this single life form came all different kinds of life forms. Of course, this took billions and billions of years. But then what is billions and billions of years when you have so many billions to work with.

One of these life forms was the dolphin. However, this dolphin is not the dolphin you are thinking of. This dolphin had legs!
Pretty silly looking dolphin? Here let me show you a better looking one.

He lived on the land. However, over time (maybe billions or millions and millions of years; which is still a LONG time) he began to change. His blow hole, which was on the front of his face, began to navigate to his forehead. His wonderful legs began to change in appearance also. They began to change shape. Eventually this dolphin’s blow hole moved from its forehead to the top of his head and his legs changed to fins! Now this dolphin lives in the sea.

REALITY CHECK!

Now I know most of you see the silliness in this story! How can something come from nothing and how can life come from something that is not living? Have you ever seen a rabbit suddenly appear in a hat? He did not magically appear. The trickster (the one who owns the hat) also owns the rabbit and carefully hid the rabbit in the hat prior to the performance. There is always, ALWAYS, a method to each trick.

Have you ever seen a rock change into a bird? I have not either and neither has anyone else.
The part about the dolphin sounds silly, too! Unfortunately, many people (yes, even grownups) believe this nonsense. My family and I visited an aquarium up north a few years ago and heard this story which is told to thousands and thousands of visitors who come to this research facility each year. This fairy tale is presented as scientific fact! This fairy tale has a name…
As silly as it seems to believe in evolution, many people, including adults, do.

I can only see two reasons for this. First, they do not want to believe in a Creator. Without a Creator, or God, they have no one to answer to. Each person can decide right and wrong for themselves. Secondly, Christians who wrongly believe in evolution do so to fit the Bible into science. This is very foolish for many reasons. However, to keep things simple and short let me just ask you one question...is your God smart enough to create the dolphin right the first time? Is evolution necessary? If you say yes, your god is not our God. Our God is omniscient (knows everything). He is omnipotent (all powerful). Our God is immutable (unchallengeable). He cannot be moved and has no beginning and no end. He is good. He is holy. He is sovereign (supreme).
Evolutionists also believe that these things took place billions and billions and billons of years ago. They also believe man came much later than the animals and that some of the animals (the dinosaurs) died before man came. That would mean death came before man. Christians who believe in evolution believe that God could look at death and say, “it is good” (read the creation account in Genesis). They also believe that the very painful process (take for instance the dolphin we spoke of) was part of God’s plans. What do you think it would have been like for an animal that lived on land but had no legs, yet could not live in the water either because it did not have fins? It did not have a body that could slither along the ground. This poor animal would have been defenseless and unable to fend for itself.

The Bible teaches us that God created the universe about 6000 years ago, out of nothing, in six literal, twenty-four hour days. Only God can create from nothing. In addition, he created each plant and animal after their kind. The beast of the earth and man were created on day six. Man and every beast of the earth lived together, including the dinosaurs.
Do not be fooled by this adult fairy tale!
In the beginning, God created!
The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God.
