Welcome to
Learn Hebrew
*Please note…
You may notice that some Hebrew words, when spelled in English, have many different spellings. For example, Chanukah, Hanukah, and Hanukkah. I read on one internet site that the beautiful thing about Hanukkah is you can’t misspell it. Another example, Chag Sameach (meaning Happy Holiday) is often spelled Hag Sameach or even Chag Sa'Mayoff.
I admit that you may find various spellings from one resource to another shared below, but hopefully consistency within each resource itself. We have referenced many different authors and the end result is a mixture of flavor of various authors phonetic preferences found in the various downloads. Even in our early stages of study, this has not been a stumbling block to us. I hope it isn’t one for you either.
The following are some fun games and worksheets we have used in our learning of this wonderful language. As in all areas on our website, if you find errors please let us know.
