Looking for Yeshua

Faces of Jesus in the Old and New Testaments

So often, the presence and active participation of Yeshua ha'Mashiach, Jesus our Lord and Savior, throughout Israel's history in the Old Testament are overlooked.  Many of the people in the Old Testament were a "picture" of Yeshua.  At other times a place or thing portrayed Yeshua.  Jehovah's (God) Word from start to finish is about "the" Word, Yeshua.

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  He was in the beginning with God.  All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.  In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.  And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
...He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him.  He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him.  But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.  And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
Yochanan (John) 1: 1-5, 10-14

We will be giving you names and pictures of Yeshua from B’resheet (Genesis) to Revelation, but we challenge you and your children to see Yeshua in every Bible story you read.  Don't be limited by what we write.  Our prayer is that this will act as a stepping-stone for you and your children to better understand and love our Lord and Savior, Yeshua ha'Mashiach; and through that knowledge and love, grow in your understanding and love of Jehovah, our Abba Father!  "If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also."  Yochanan 8: 19

We have made this a printable file, to make it easier for you to work with.  If you are looking for more of a challenge, cross-reference between Old and New Testaments and find the same picture in both places.  Have fun and enjoy the treasure you have in Jehovah's Word!
