Neanderthals were human. They buried their dead, used tools, had a complex social structure, employed language, and played musical instruments. Neanderthal anatomy differences are extremely minor and can be for the most part explained as a result of a genetically isolated people that lived a rigorous life in a harsh, cold climate.

Neanderthals were human. They were a group of people who lived in a very harsh and cold climate. It is now understood that their stooped posture (which was spoken of as an apelike stance, calling these humans ape-men) was due to a disease called rickets and arthritis.

French paleontologist, Marcellin Boule examined the remains of the la Chapelle-aux-Saints Neanderthal from France, known also as the old man of La Chapelle-aux-Saints. Unfortunately, Boule’s prejudices got in the way of of his examination. He declared that these hominids were unintelligent due to their low-browed brains, ape-like creatures that walked with bent knees and a shuffling gait. These misconceptions were proven false, but Boule’s mistaken view left a permanent scar on the Neanderthals image.
We have realized a spiritual application as we have been writing these pages, A Rebuttal to Evolution. There have been many other unfortunate declarations such as the Neanderthal man. Proved untrue for years, many remain in textbooks and museums today. These lies are used to form the hearts and minds of many young people. How quickly spread and universally destructive are lies.
