The Tabernacle
In Davy M. Levy’s book, The Tabernacle Shadows of
The Messiah there was one something that stuck with me as I began to
organize thoughts and material for our study of the Tabernacle… “As we look at the ministry of the Tabernacle fulfilled
in Christ, may the words “I have been to the mountain, and I have seen the
glory of the Lord” be your testimony through this study, as the shadows of
the Tabernacle set forth the reality of the Savior.” The Tabernacle Shadows of The Messiah page 23 “I have been to the mountain, and I have seen the glory
of the Lord” those are the words that
first caught my heart. As I delved
into preparing for this study and found myself buried in papers and research
I completely forgot those words until early one morning while preparing a
chart I found myself on that mountain, beyond the shadows and to the reality
of Yeshua Ha
Mashiach and all I could do is sit in awe of God. I just wanted to share some links, recommend some resources, share a game or two, charts…just some things which I pray will help jumpstart you if you desire to study the Tabernacle with your children. Please if you have any recommendations (a website, study, game) that has blessed you in your study of the Tabernacle please share with us. We are ‘in progress’ in our study with the Tabernacle and it is one, which will never be a shut book. Shalom uv'rachah b' Yeshua Ha Mashiach September 2004 You will need Acrobat Reader to print the following files. and/or your children study the furnishings of the Tabernacle. I have included an area within the chart
for keywords. For us it has helped to
write the keywords and use both a online concordance found at Blue Letter
Bible and also the online Noah Webster’s
1828 Dictionary. Chart of the layout of

shopping links provided are from companies we have bought time and time again
from. We built a model of the Tabernacle and it has been a wonderful visual aid! Now that I shared the link above I really recommended if you are interested in purchasing this model to visit Vision Vide/Gateway Films. We too are a one-income homeschooling family and understand having to ‘stretch’ a budget (or more honestly to try to squeeze juice from a turnip). You can purchase the same kit (at least it appears the same and this is the actual kit we bought) and for just a few dollars more than at the above link you will also receive the following two videos…
